For this ongoing collaboration, I’ve been working on the website graphics for Comic Sandwiches, an eCommerce store (BigCommerce) specializing in high-quality replica shields and props inspired by superheroes and pop culture. While the website redesign concept is still on the back burner, my current focus is on creating new website banners to promote special events and product launches, as well as designing apparel to complement their shields and props.
Since Comic Sandwiches started in 2015 with comic book frames (which inspired the brand name), I wanted to bring that origin story into the design. To add a fun, quirky touch to the brand, I illustrated and designed a literal sandwich superhero. This playful character ties the brand's beginnings to its current offerings while giving the site a unique, memorable visual identity. This ongoing work is all about enhancing the website’s current look and feel while the full redesign concept remains in development.
